THE SMALLER Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini arrived in the UK today, with Three becoming the first mobile operator to start selling the handset.
Not content with launching the HTC Windows Phone 8X and the Sony Xperia J today, Three has just been in touch to tell The INQUIRER that it has also begun selling the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini. It's not showing up on the network's website yet, but Three has told us it will be available for free from £28 a month, complete with 500 minutes, 5,000 texts and unlimited monthly data.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini will also be available on pay as you go with Three, costing £269.99 when bought with the usual £10 top-up.
The handset isn't all that exciting in terms of specifications, but it's a good smartphone for those who find the full-sized Samsung Galaxy S3's 4.8in screen too big. It features a smaller 4in 480x800 AMOLED screen along with a dual-core 1GHz processor and Google's Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. There's no news regarding an upgrade to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean yet.
It also comes with a 5MP rear-facing camera, a VGA front-facing camera, 16GB of internal storage, a 1,500mAh battery and support for 4G LTE connectivity. ยต
