While the Galaxy S IV was rumoured to make an appearance at the Consumer Electronics Show next week, at least behind closed doors, Samsung last week confirmed that the new Galaxy S VI would not launch before May, dampening hopes for any glimpses of the phone next week or at February's Mobile World Congress.
Samsung has a history of updating its Galaxy S line of phones between late April and early May as it moves away from consumer trade shows and towards their own hosted events for product launches.
