HTC Pushes Android 4.2.2 for One X and One X+ in UK - IBTimes.co.uk

HTC is pushing out the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean software update for One X and One X+ users in the United Kingdom following the roll-out for One X in other European countries.

Several users in the UK are reported to have received the new official build. The Android 4.2.2 with base firmware 4.18.401.2 for the One X and build version 2.18.401.2 for the One X+ are now available for the unlocked version of the handsets in the UK, notes Android Central. Also, several One X users at XDA forum have confirmed the update.   

The OTA updates weigh 379.71 MB for the One X and 406.63 MB for the One X+ respectively. They bring major improvements and changes over the previous Android version 4.1.1. Besides, the firmware carries several goodies and a new Sense 5 user interface for One X and One X+, which feature Sense 4 UI. 

The Android 4.2.2 adds new HTC features such as BlinkFeed home screen experience, new Gallery/Camera app with video highlights and lock screen widgets.

Music Channel: Users can view the lyrics and music visualisation screen (support content based on actual lyrics database shall prevail)

Those who have not received the OTA notification yet can manually grab the update by navigating to Settings>> About>> Software Updates>> Check now.
