Feeling a little flat

Sony has finally settled on a design language, and it's one I have mixed feelings about. The Xperia Z was always a lovely looking thing, but it's no work of art like the HTC One, and feels hard and angular next to the Samsung Galaxy S4. Although there's no doubt that it also feels more premium than the S4.

I had hoped the Z1 would offer just a little more curve than its forefather. After all, our hands and faces aren't composed of totally flat planes, so our gadgets probably shouldn't be either.
